Race completed in 2 hours 15 mins. 10 mins ahead of target time. Carried a banana all the way...even on the swim...made it very hard to get through the water, but in the rules it said times were not valid without a banana !!  Look for competitor number 709. So allowing for all the 438 rule breakers in front of me, I reckon I came first :-)

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page, this year supporting White Lodge Nursery.  Isabel my 3 years old niece has athetoid cerebral palsy which makes it very difficult for her to control her muscles the way she wants to, as a result she can't walk yet and finds speech difficult. 

Isabel joined White Lodge Nursery when she was 5 months old and now spends 2 days a week with their caring and diligent staff.  This is where she receives physio speech therapy and lots of help in other areas to ensure she develops to the best of her ability.

Without the early intervention of the team at the nursery Isabels progress may have been very different, so for this reason their continued efforts in this area will always be appreciated, and need to be supported.
