Thank you for visiting the Bananaman 2006 fundraising page.

My young nephew Daniel was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy a severe and progressive muscle wasting disease that affects young boys. Because this is so rare Government funding to find a cure is not that freely available, so its a race against the clock to find a cure. That race has driven me to this race, in support of the PPUK charity.... So please do your best to dig deep, or shallow (every little helps!) and sponsor me on-line. The time saved by you in doing this helps me to really focus my efforts on the intensive training programme my body needs to get me up to the 28km distance!
