This year is the 10th Anniversary of the East Anglia Air Ambulance (EAAA), which covers the area where we live and depends entirely on vountary contributions to fly the helicopters to help those involved in accidents or in difficulties.

We are both active Rotarians and both retired and  decided we wanted to help this charity and at the same time do something a little different and possibly a little crazy. So we decided to walk the Alfred Wainwright Coast to Coast route.

We set off from St Bees on 5 May and reached Robin Hood's Bay on 21 May.

YES WE MADE IT!!!

We really enjoyed the walk, with fine weather and warm hospitality throughout and met some very interesting people en route.

We welcome any donation that you can spare and all funds raised go to EAAA
