The Royal Parks Half Marathon 2016 will be my first
half marathon ever, and raising money for Cancer Research UK certainly provides the motivation to take up the challenge!

Among the too many family and friends hit by this
devastating disease, I have decided to run in memory of my father, a keen marathon runner in his youth (pictured), who died 2 years ago after an intense fight against brain cancer, at the age of 65.

Obviously I care deeply for this cause and hope this will
encourage many others to give even a small contribution to the development of new therapies to treat - and eventually eradicate - cancer.
