300 of us MADE IT through the Normandy battlefields to commemorate the Allies’ liberation of Europe 65 years ago. With us were from our Allies of today, wounded servicemen from America, Canada and France as well as our own from Headley Court and they we all fantastic too!

The ride was a challenge, France is not flat, for some (me) it was life changing (still can't sit down properly, and I looked awful in lycra!) but for all it was one of the most worthwhile things we have ever done. 

I had the privilege of riding alongside brave men and women whose lives have also changed forever through their injuries, or through the loss of those they love in conflict, but it was satisfying to know that you (with your donations) and I (with a sore backside and very tired legs) helped to raise money for them and hundreds like them.
