We’re here for the cure. Cure Parkinson’s is working with urgency to find new treatments to slow, stop and reverse Parkinson’s.

Story

We did it!!!!     We have successfully completed our 4,228 mile trip from Otley to The Gambia in our trusty 22 year old Renault 5.  We had some great adventures on the way and have lots of memories.  Highlights were travelling through a minefield, trying to camp in another minefield, driving over the Sahara desert and driving along the beach in Mauritania,  Our car was sold for over £600 in The Gambia, raising money for local charities, and we are still raising money for our UK charity

The Cure Parkinson's Trust.

Please help by making a donation.  It really is for a great cause, and all the cash goes straight to the charity

My mother (Rachael’s grandmother) suffered from Parkinson’s disease for 20 years, blighting the later years of her life, making this a personal cause for us.  The charity aims to raise funds and awareness of Parkinson’s research, channelling funds quickly and directly into projects, hosting research forums and disseminating the results from these meetings.

Supporting us here at justgiving.com is the most secure, safest and quickest way to sponsor us.  The Cure Parkinson's Trust will receive your money faster, and if you're a UK taxpayer, tick the Gift Aid box, then an extra 28% in gift aid will be added to your donation by HMRC at no cost to you.   Now, that's a good deal!

Please do it and make a difference.

John and Rachael
