Children First is Scotland’s national children’s charity. We stand up for children, keep them safe and support them to recover from trauma and abuse through our national and local services.

Story

The team of managers at Bank of Scotland Commercial based in Inverness cover a large geographical area of Scotland.  From Elgin in the east to Wick / Thurso in the north, Skye in the west and down to Badenoch and Speyside in the south.

As a group we wanted to give a little back to the communities we work in and do something which would benefit a charity operating throughout our area.  Children 1st was an easy choice for us - they do so much in so many different ways to support children and change their lives for the better.  Please visit their website www.children1st.org.uk to see for yourself.

As bankers, we have been faced with many metaphorical mountains to climb in recent times.  As a challenge to raise funds, we have decided to go and actually climb Britain's highest mountain, Ben Nevis, on the 20th August 2010.

So please dig deep and donate now.
