It is 20 years since my Mum passed away after suffering with breast cancer.  More recently two very close friends have fought the disease.  Fiona was diagnosed two years ago and fought the battle successfully and Alice, another close friend and work colleague  has her last chemo session on 24th May.  They are both an absolute inspiration to me and have carried on working  and socialising  throughout their illnesses. Both my friends as well as my Mum have been grateful for what The Christie had to offer. It is with these donations like these that help improve the chances of survival.
