This September 5 colleagues (David Jeffrey, , Ed Black, Lee Fellows, Richard Wagstaff) from Barclaycard Global Payment Acceptance will be taking part in the to bike ride for Marie Curie Cancer Care. This will involve cycling 300 miles over 4 days between 8th and 12th September 2010.

Between them the five characters involved are generally unfit, overweight (some more than others) and currently not in a good shape to undertake such a challenge. This however is all about to change with the beginning of a fitness and training regime which will see us ready to take on the 300 mile challenge with enthusiasm and dare I say it relative speed.

In return for our efforts we are asking you to dig deep into your pockets and sponsor us in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care. We have set a personal fundraising target of £40,000 which we hope to acheive and these funds will be put to great use by the charity, to change peoples lives who are living with cancer as well as to support ground breaking research aimed at preventing the illness itself.

In support of our efforts, Barclaycard have agreed to match all funds that we raise, so every penny you donate will have double the impact when it reaches the charity. Please give generously to this great cause and DONATE NOW!

A BIG THANKYOU from The Barclaycard Bikers

(David, Stuart, Ed, Richard, Lee)
