We need to raise £280,000 to go towards the construction of a new sports hall which we hope to begin Summer 2012 – the year of the Olympics. The sports hall is named after Mike Hawthorm, 1950's racing legend, an old boy at Barfield from 1938-1942, in the hope that we can inspire more sporting heroes for the future. </span></span></p>

<p style="line-height: 150%;">Details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity. If more than £280,000 is raised then the surplus will be used for the benefit of Barfield School. Similarly, if we are under subscribed, the money will be used as above.</p>
