Last year saw the resurection of the Village Barge Pull in aid of Help For Heroes. See the pictures I have posted.

This Event was very successful with 4 teams entering  (including a team from the army) and a guest team from the spectators. We raised over £2300 which was made up from the Team sponsors and events on the day. Team BPH won last year with a pull in 1 minute and 2 seconds

This Year we have 12 teams saying they would pull including Last years winners and the Army and RAF putting in teams.

The object of our event is for a team of 6 people to pull the AMY HOWSON a 70 ton barge over a distance of 50 yards in the quickest time. Each team has to raise a minimum of £60.00 to be eligible to enter (this  equates to only £10.00 per team member) This Event is  being held at Horkstow Bridge North Lincolnshire on Saturday 7th August 2010 at 1pm. There will  be BBQ-BAR-TUCK SHOP.RAFFLE. TEA COFFEE AND CAKES. Also we Have the Car that was bought for 200 pounds and sprayed in the H4H colours and then travelled to Barcelona raising Monies for this charity They will be selling the H4H merchandise.
