Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit the Southern Co-operative's Bark And Ride JustGiving page.
As it's the year of the Olympics, join us as we attempt our own physical challenge.
Over the course of the Olympics (30th - 31st July ) we will have teams from across the business competing against each other to see who can cycle the furthest in 24 hours on exercise bikes. We will be raising money for our new charity of the year Canine Partners and therefore we are looking for sponsors to help each team raise up to £2000!!!
Canine Partners assists people with disabilities to enjoy a greater independence and quality of life through the provision of specially trained dogs, whose well-being is of a key consideration.
The Charity aims to train dogs to meet the needs of the people with even the most complex disabilities including members of HM Armed Forces.
Here's how your donation can help ...
£800 supports the purchase of a new puppy from a breeder.
£100 supports the provision of a "puppy starter pack" to a new puppy parent
£15 supports the purchase of a collar and a lead when it reaches adulthood
£5 supports the purchase of food and water bowls.
Therefore every contribution, no matter how small, will help for this great cause.
The Southern Co-operative would like to thank Fitness First for kindly lending us exercise bikes for this challenge.
