Dear All,

 

Many of you visiting this page will aready know all about the Southbank Sinfonia staff Grade-1-a-thon. For my part i have been learning the bassoon for the past few months - something i've secretly wanted to do for some time! I'd like to thank the team of fantastic bassoonists from SbS 6 & 7 who have generously enabled me to do this. I've had lessons from Andrew and Llinos, a whole bassoon from Rosie and a supply of reeds from Susana - i'm a very lucky bassoonist!

 

Please give a small amount in support of me, as my exam date approaches, and towards the player bursary which we collectively are aiming to raise (£6,300!) with this Grade-1-a-thon. If you're a betting person, why not make a small donation and pledge to double it if i obtain a certain score in my exam? For anybody not familiar with the ABRSM marking system, the marks are out of 150, 130 is a distinction, 120 a merit and 100 a pass...
