Banff to Banjul in a Banger with Team Barnaclebusters
The team is Terry Parker and David Hughes supported by Katy, Andy, Tina, Ant, Stephanie & Kim and we are undertaking the Plymouth-Banjul Challenge. Find out more at www.plymouth-dakar.co.uk Starting in Banff, Scotland. Terry & David are driving a VW Polo to Plymouth, across the Channel to France and through Spain to cross the Straights of Gibraltar to Morocco. Traverse the Atlas Mountains then cross the Western Sahara, through Mauritania, Senegal and ending up in Banjul in the Gambia. When we get the car all the way there, it will be auctioned off for local charities. We will leave the UK on 20th Dec.08 and should arrive Banjul around 12th Jan. 09. It is our target to try and raise £1 for each of the 4,000 miles to Banjul. We can only do this with your help. Please donate what you can and pass this on to some of your friends. To find out more and monitor our progress as we prepare and undertake this challenge then visit www.barnaclebusters.co.uk There are lots of ways you can help us to help the MSSociety. Please do, you know you want to really! Thank you so much in anticipation of your help.
