Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a life-shortening genetic condition that slowly destroys the lungs and digestive system. The Cystic Fibrosis Trust is the only UK-wide charity fighting for a life unlimited, when everyone living with CF can look forward to a long, healthy life. www.cysticfibrosis.org.uk

Story

It was a lovely day for walking 8 miles round Carsington Water. We set off at 12.30 pm and stopped for lunch at 1.30 pm, then stopped ever now and then on a bench at the top of a big hill! Then we found a pub in Carsington village so we couldn't by-pass that without stopping for a drink and so the children could play. Then we treked on and finished at 5.05 pm. It was all well worth it and even though my feet are killing me, my hips are painful (old arthritis!) and my legs ache, I would have done it all again (but not all in one day!) to be one step further to finding a cure for Cystic Fibrosis.

Thank you to all of those that sponsored me and I promise this is my last event this year!

Many thanks for your support.
