<p><strong><span style="font-family: Times New Roman;"><span style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: small;">In April 2012, I am lucky enough to have been selected, to support a summit attempt on Mt Everest.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> T</span>ogether with 20 colleagues from St. James’s Place Wealth Management I plan to walk to Everest base camp<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>hoping to raise £500,000 for the St James’s Place Foundation, that grants awards to the smaller UK registered charities operating in the UK and abroad.</span>
<p class="MsoNoSpacing" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">This is set to be an exciting adventure in a very special part of the world for an excellent cause.</span></span></p>

<p class="MsoNoSpacing" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: small;">The trek will take about 3 weeks and once camped at the base of the roof of the world, we will wave goodbye to our colleague Roger Owen who is planning to make a summit attempt.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNoSpacing" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: small;">This is not a subsidized holiday and every member of the expedition is paying his/her costs in full.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>I would like to emphasise that every penny raised goes to the Foundation and then to the charities who apply for grants such as The Teenage Cancer Trust, Hope & Homes for Children and Rainbow Trust. </span></p>
