In April 2012, I am lucky enough to have been selected, to support a summit attempt on Mt Everest. Together with 20 colleagues from St. James’s Place Wealth Management I plan to walk to Everest base camp hoping to raise £500,000 for the St James’s Place Foundation, that grants awards to the smaller UK registered charities operating in the UK and abroad.
This is set to be an exciting adventure in a very special part of the world for an excellent cause.
The trek will take about 3 weeks and once camped at the base of the roof of the world, we will wave goodbye to our colleague Roger Owen who is planning to make a summit attempt.
This is not a subsidized holiday and every member of the expedition is paying his/her costs in full. I would like to emphasise that every penny raised goes to the Foundation and then to the charities who apply for grants such as The Teenage Cancer Trust, Hope & Homes for Children and Rainbow Trust.

Your donation is very much appreciated. Thank you for your time.
