Hi all,
I'll be joining a group of intrepid explorers in July 2006 at almost the top of the world, in Iceland to take on a gruelling 80km trek over some of the toughest but most beautiful terrain in the world.
We'll be doing this to raise much needed funds for the Alzheimer's Society and you can read all about the trek here :
http://www.alzheimers.org.uk/Events/Iceland/index.htm
Using Just-Giving is the best way for me to raise funds for the the Alzheimer's Society, as if you are a UK taxpayer your donation will be increased by almost a third at no cost to you!
There is a short "personal details" form to fill out when donating. These brief details are necessary in order to reclaim the tax so PLEASE be patient.
I've set myself an ambitious target, but in 1 year it should be achievable and wouldn't it be great if you could help me break the £100K barrier? You can visit my main website here :
http://www.trekiceland.net - it will let you know all about my exploits!
Even if you have donated, please check back regularly as I'll be setting up a webpage to detail the progress of fundraising and to give you more information on the Trek as it happens
Thanks and regards,
Barny
