St Wilfrid's Hospice Coastal Challenge · 23 August 2008

St Wilfrid’s Hospice provides tailored end of life care both in the community and at our Hospice, supporting our patients living with a terminal illness, and their family and friends. We rely on the generous support of our community to raise the £10million we need each year to fund our services.

Story

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page. My cousin Peter and I are competing in his boat "Four Two" (Douglas Adams fans will get it!...) in a sponsored yacht race from Chichester Bar around the Nab Tower and back. This is to raise funds for the privately financed St Wilfrid's Hospice in Chichester, a great institution which does a wide range of wonderful work. We have been delighted by the generous response of our friends already to our efforts to help the hospice, and with their encouragement have increased our target to an ambitious £2000. Please help us achieve it!

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: St Wilfrid's Hospice gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor us now! We'll let donors know how we get on - winning requires a combination of good sailing (don't worry, Peter's the skipper!) and good fund raising, so your gift can help like an extra breeze for our boat!

Barry

Stop Press: A very generous off-line gift just received from Phil & Jan has taken us over our revised target of £2000! So many, many, thanks on behalf of the hospice to all of you!
