Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

After a year of prevarication I have finally set a date for an End-to-End solo bike ride.  The first question I'm asked is always 'What's the good cause you're doing it for?' - in other words no-one would want to do it for their own satisfaction.  I won't try to justify myself, but I am asking you to support the Jacob Marsland Appeal.  Jacob, a 5 year-old boy from Northwich, has neuroblastoma, a serious and aggressive form of cancer.  You can see the effect this has on him and his family at www.jacobmarslandappeal.org.

I'm off on 26 June to enjoy the trip.  Jacob's dad, Anthony, says 'It's a hell of a ride'.  Well, maybe it is, but it's not as hellish as having a child with a potentially fatal condition.  So - dig deep, folks, and help give Jacob a chance to beat his cancer.
