At International Animal Rescue we do exactly what our name says: we save animals from suffering around the world. We cut free dancing bears in India; rescue primates from the animal traders in Indonesia; save migrating birds from the guns of Malta and provide veterinary care for stray dogs and cats in developing countries. When we can, we release rescued animals back into the wild but, if that’s not possible, we give them a safe haven for life in one of our sanctuaries.

My story

Ok I am putting my backside on the line again this year, 56 miles in the saddle from London to Brighton on Sunday 21st June. Every year I raise money for the British Heart Foundation as well as IAR. This page is all about IAR and the endless hard work they put into rescuing and rehabilitating animals all over the world.

There are 105 so called Dancing bears still remaining in India and IAR are aiming to rescue them all in 2009 but can only do it with our support. Have a look at Bill's link and you'll see what its all about.
