A group of Joanne Wood's family and freinds are attempting to complete a return journey to Scarborough from Bassetlaw Hospice over two days.  The estimated milage is 225 miles and will start from the hospice on 20/06/09, returning the following day.

This is our way of thanking the Hospice for the excellent care provided to Joanne in her stay and during her illness and the support provided to all the family.

Joanne was diagnosed with a brain tumour in November of 2005, and although only given 1 year to live her strength & determination gave us 3 precious years until she pass away in the hospice on 16th December 2008.
