As many of you are aware 142 MI Section has deployed to Afghanistan for the third time in fifteen months. Last year we ran a half marathon to raise funds for the Jamie Inglis appeal and successfully raised £1200. This year we are aiming to run the half marathon again and along with beating our previous times, we are hoping to raise even more money. Our chosen charity for this event is the St. Elizabeth Centre. The Centre provides invaluable care and opportunities to both children and adults that suffer from neurological conditions such as cerebral palsy and severe epilepsy. For more information please visit their website.The event will take place on 13th March 2011 and the whole Section will be busting a gut to beat each other around the 13 miles.
