Story

At the Bath University Triathlon Club we have decided we are ready for a challenge and so we have set ourselves exactly that. Our challenge is to attempt, right here on Bath University Campus, to swim (the equivalent of) the English Channel 34km, to cycle across (the equivalent of) South Africa 1706km and run (the equivalent of) the length of England 510km in just 12 hours. It is going to be a huge challenge and one that will take determination and commitment from every member of the club - but we are ready, we are excited and we cannot wait! We are raising money for The Zoe Sarojini Education Trust (<a href="http://www.zoetrust.org">www.zoetrust.org</a>) a wonderful charity which aims to give young children in South Africa the chance at a brighter future by providing them with a good education. The charity supports young children living in Ingwavuma, a rural poverty stricken village and Cape Town. At the trust we are determined to break the poverty cycle by educating young children and are convinced that with commitment and encouragement we can begin to do this one child at a time. We also realise the importance of not only supporting the education of our children but making sure that they can go home to a comfortable environment where they can study. BUT we need your help to make a difference and help change lives today. So please give all you can and help us TRIhard and complete our challenge!!
