Supporting rugby support Poppyscotland, The Sportsman’s Charity and Hearts & Balls

Please support us – walking sticks and other aids accepted!

On the 16 May we will forget what many years of experience and our bodies tell us – DON’T! - and take on The Hearts & Heroes Challenge. This 29-mile, one-day fitness challenge, run (that’s slow walking for us!) over the unspoilt and scenic Southern Upland Way, starts at St Mary’s Loch and finishes at the famous Greenyards in Melrose.

All sponsorship from The Hearts & Heroes Challenge will be used to support Poppyscotland, The Sportsman’s Charity and Hearts & Balls. The Sportsman’s Charity has supported BATs over the last couple of years and we are pleased to be able to return their help through walking.

If you would like to sponsor us for our endeavours please make your donation through Justgiving. It is quick, easy and totally secure and also the most efficient way to sponsor our team. Sportsman's Charity Limited gets your money faster and, if you’re taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure the Gift Aid (around 27%) is added to your donation. It charges around 6% for this service.

There will be at least one other BATs/Accies team made up of ‘young guns’ - current players.

We thank you for your support ……..The future’s good …….with  your support.
