Tour De Suffolk · 16 April 2014

Suffolk Family Carers provides information and support for Family Carers. A Family Carer is someone who, without payment, provides help and support to a partner, child, relative, friend or neighbour, who could not manage without their help.

Story

A BBC Suffolk team of nine cylists completed a 130-mile+ 'Tour De Suffolk' on Wednesday 16 April 2014 - raising money for the '8 Days a Week Appeal' for Suffolk Family Carers.

The route visited the five Ryman Premier League grounds in the county. Starting in Ipswich it went via Needham Market, Hadleigh, Sudbury, Bury St Edmunds, Stowmarket and Leiston and ended at Crown Meadow in Lowestoft. All money raised goes towards a mobile support vehicle: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-suffolk-24582851

Thanks to AFC Sudbury for breakfast, Bury Town FC for refreshments, Lowestoft Town for food and drink, Simon in the support vehicle and our three motorcycle outriders Neil, Paul and Roy.
