My story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Myself and Dennis Hopkins are taking on the Barcelona Bangers Challenge as a way to raise funds for Help for Heroes.  Most people, I am sure, are aware of the incredible work they do to help and assist our wonderful armed services personnel who suffer the misfortune of being injured whilst doing their job in protecting others.

The challenge is to drive from Calais to Barcelona over a three day period starting 1st June 1012, in a car which costs no more than £250.

We have the car and the willingness to take up the challenge.  We now need sponsors, such as yourself, to help us make it a profitable journey for the charity.

No money from donations will be used to fund the challenge.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. Well, there's less than a month to go before we set off on the Challenge. Donations have been coming in via other means as well as through Just Giving and our target almost reached. The Volvo is on holiday in Cornwall at the moment & hopefully raising awareness and donations
