Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving- FIREFLIES Tour 2019 page.
I am riding this Tour in memory of my Paternal Grandfather Domingo Diel. He passed away from Leukemia when I was 10 years old. In the last 17 years, I've had many more friends and family effected by Cancer so it was time to do something about it. In 2017 I road the FIREFLIES West Tour, from San Francisco to Los Angeles; for the City of Hope. This year I wanted to continue my part in the Fight Against Cancer “Across the Pond" and was graciously "granted a saddle" to ride in the Italian and French Alps!
This will no doubtably be the most challenging Multi-Day Bike Tour in my life, but I cannot wait. I'll train for the climbs, the altitude, and the pain.
I hope you'll join me in the Journey and help raise funds and awareness for Bloodwise (formerly Leukemia and Lymphoma Research) based in the UK. Let's say "F*Cancer" together!
