<p><span style="color: #000000;">Welcome to our JustGiving page, raising money for the Poole Hospital Intensive Care Unit wish list. This year is the 7th aniversary of our great friend Jim Gouge passing away and Poole ICU is where he spent his last days with us. The ICU staff were brilliant during that time so as a collective we would like to give something back to them.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #000000;">Thank you for all your support so far with the bike ride last year and Matt's Marathon run this year. All your donations are greatly appreciated and are all going to a fantastic cause.</span></p>

<p><strong><span style="color: #3366ff;">I am attempting to cycle, SOLO!, 1000+ miles in 7 days starting on the 16th Sept ’11 from John O’Groats to Lands End</span></strong><br><br><strong><span style="color: #3366ff;">Luckily my good friend Kev Tipper is also giving up his time to drive a support vehicle to meet at certain points throughout and to sleep in. On average i will be riding 140 miles a day so any music suggestions with your sponsorship will be taken on board and used. The training has been very gruelling so far, hopefully i'll be able to cope with the stresses and strains this event will undoubtedly throw at me. </span></strong></p>
<p><strong><span style="color: #3366ff;">i would be truly greatful for any sponsorship, i understand that times are very hard at the moment so anything you could spare would be fantastic!</span></strong></p>

<p><strong><span style="color: #3366ff;"><span style="color: #000000;"><span><span style="color: #ff00ff;">This is Briony, Cathy and Lindsay - we too are doing our bit to raise funds for this great cause. On Sunday 25 September we will be running the Windsor Half Marathon - 13.1 miles. This is our first attempt at running, up until the beginning of this year we were all beginners at running. We appreciate anything that you can spare for this cause which is dear to all of our hearts.</span></span></span></span></strong></p>

<p><span style="color: #ff0000;">We are raising money for a piece of equipment that I can say, with no reservation, will save lives. </span></p>
<p>The CX-50 is a portable ultrasound scanner that will enable the ICU staff to make a much quicker diagnosis of a number of critical contitions affecting the heart.</p>
