The Sussex Beacon is a specialist facility, providing support and care for people facing the challenges of living with HIV. The Beacon is to become the UK’s only dedicated hospice for LGBTQ+ people, uniquely combining inclusive care with expertise in HIV specialist care.

Story

Hello and thanks for visiting our fundraising page.

We are running the London Marathon on April 22nd to raise funds for the Sussex Beacon - a care centre in Brighton that provides specialist help for people living with HIV.

This is such a great cause that we don't mind hours of long training and the inevitable aches and pains! From left to right we are (pictured with the Mayor of Brighton): Damon Marshall, Nick Kirby, Donald Reid, Matt Morgan and Charles Baines. Not pictured is Joanna Cassells, the lady on our team.

We appreciate any help you can give us - every penny counts. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us as the Beacon will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Many thanks for your support.
