If tomorrow we were diagnosed to have cancer I think most of us would hope until our last day that there will be a cure. Research and treatment costs a lot of money, and we never know when our loved ones or ourselves would need it. Cancer can take a long time to be diagnosed, symptoms won't appear from day one.
I am not trying to scare anyone, but we all have the potential to have cancer, any cancer. You don't have to drink heavily, live a sedentary lifestyle or eat unwell. Cancer just happens. What doesn't happen yet is getting out of it like you would from a cold or a flu. Though donating now could make it a lot easier.
I am also running for my family and people who argued with me about being a raw-foodist vegan. There is life beyond meat, eggs and dairy. I am not only alive but fit and healthy. I deeply believe that a raw-diet benefits people with cancer and I would be delighted to read one day that there is evidence and publicity about it. I would love my mom not to smuggle lard or eggs in my smoothie when we meet and I would love a lovely person I know to recover from cancer. We can all do something to end the suffering...
