Story
Greetings all!!...We did it!!!!
My name is Bilal Sheikh. My team and I have braved the snow, wind and sub zero temperatures all in the name of charity.
We are supporting the Pinder Centre, a small establishment dedicated at providing free or subsidized private Physiotherpay treatment to those that can't afford it. The centre specialises in hydrotherapy and providing patients with a high quality service and support for the patient and their family.
The donations will allow the Pinder Centre to carry on this amazing work and increase the amount of patients they can treat, such as children with cerebral palsy.
This charity is important to me because I am a training to become a Physiotherapist. As a student representative of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, I have a duty to fund-raiser for this charity in some way. I therefore took it upon myself to help get the Pinder centre onto the Justgiving website.
So far the efforts of myself and my team, including Waseem mir, Deepak Aulak, Azeem Mir and Sunny Singh has seen us set up a facebook group providing all the guidance and information for others to form a group and do the trek with us, including transportation and accommodation arrangements.
So far we have worked on our publicity and have a following form Frontline Magazine, the ROAR newspaper and GKT Gazette, I hope people will take it upon themselves to read the articles and donate generously to the charity.
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
