Story

As an opening caveat; I hate running. I've never gotten on with it particularly well, but I was always ::marginally:: better at Cross Country/Long Distance endurance runs than I was at sprinting, and being the poor, skint student that I am I decided to try and adopt a free form of exercise and see if I can get into running.
Hopefully I'll start to enjoy it before running the Great North Run. Hopefully. I reamin optimistic. However, it's for a good cause and that's what's important to me in the long run.
Any money you donate will be going to Mind UK, a mental health charity. I know numerous people that suffer with this type of issue. Some of them have the support they need and other don't, some have been ongoing for a very long time. The charity just seems relevant to me, because they do so much hard work supporting those with MH problems. The work they do is invaluable, and I felt that this was one of the best ways of not only raising money for them, but also to raise awareness about them, and help raise awareness and remove the stigma from MH problems.
I hope that you can give even a little bit to help this cause. A little or a lot everything helps, I'll be eternally grateful, as will Mind, and all of the individuals that you will be helping by donating. Please, please donate something, and if you need an extra motivation, imagine me dying in training for the next 4.5 months leading up to the GNR and collapsing over the finish line. I'm not an elegant exerciser.... Think Gimli from LOTR.......
http://www.mind.org.uk
