In Oct/Nov 2009 I am undertaking the 'Aztec Challenge' to raise money for World Horse Welfare.  For 10 days we will be trekking around rural areas of Mexico; spending many hours in the saddle each day, and staying in basic accommodation.  We will also get to see at first hand the educational courses that World Horse Welfare provide to poverty stricken locals who rely on their equines to make a living.  World Horse Welfare provide training in farriery, saddlery, nutrition, and basic horse care, using local materials; and also provide vet care.  These skills can then be passed on to other communities.  I have pledged to raise £2700 (£1200 of which I already have).  If you would like to donate something towards my fundraising, I will be very grateful.
