Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
Not content with torturing myself in 2008 I am once again out plodding the lanes and fields of Dorset, this time to raise money for Compassion in World Farming.
It was a near thing as to whether or not I would run this year having had an infected foot, but I am very much up for Sunday now and am grateful to all my sponsors in what is, I know, quite a difficult time for some folks.
Can we get round on Sunday? Yes we can!
I want to raise money for and awareness of CIWF which campaigns tirelessly to end cruel factory farming practices. These systems impose needless suffering on billions of farm animals reared for food around the world. Farm animal welfare and wellbeing is at the heart of all that CIWF does and all it's work is founded on scientific fact.
CIWF believes that farm animals should not and need not suffer. By supporting my Marathon effort you are helping to improve the lives of many factory farmed animals. Thank you.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Compassion in World Farming gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor me now!
