Hi Everyone,

 

The Berlin Marathon was on Sunday 20 September and it was absolutely fantastic.  The sun was shining, the crowds were cheering, and the Brandenburg Gate has never looked SO good!  (For those of you that don't know, the finish line is 500 metres beyond the Gate.)

 

Thank you so much for all your generousity, both on and offline.  My initial target was £500, but having smashed that really quickly, I upped it to £1000.  I never would have thought it possible to exceed that - but look at what you have all given, I've obliterated it!  Thank you!

 

I now have the challenge of collecting in everyone's donation, but I look forward to sending a very big fat cheque off to St Leonard's Hospice in York very soon.
