My story

 

Hiiii guys!!! Yes, I really am going to run the London 10k and I need your help!

I’m sure those who know me well are probably having a bit of a chuckle at the thought of me throwing on my sports kit and actually doing some exercise and that has made me so much more determined to complete this.

The reason I have been training so hard is to raise some money for a wonderful charity very close to my heart. The 3H Fund is a charity that assists in funding and providing unforgettable and fulfilling holidays for disabled people, children and adults whilst giving their families a break from the routine of caring. It is a group I have worked with as a volunteer carer for the past two years and that I can’t wait to catch up with again this summer. A lot of you will have probably heard me telling you how much fun I’ve had working with this charity and I can personally vouch for what amazing work the group do. The funds you help me raise will be used to continue the good work of this organisation and to give more disabled people the chance to have a holiday.

So, if you would be willing to sponsor me to do this run, that would be incredible. Any size of donation would be greatly appreciated to help me reach my target.

Donating through justgiving.com is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me. The 3H Fund will recieve your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

As a final (sort of) incentive, if I exceed my target, I'll post pictures of the state I'm in at the finish line for you all to laugh at… What more could you want!
