Hi everyone!  Thanks for taking the time to visit my fundraising page.

On either 16th May or 4th July this year, I am being crazy enough to throw myself at least 10,000 feet out of an aeroplane, along with two of my workmates, all in the aid of charity!  Don't panic though....we will of course be wearing parachutes and have a lovely trained skydiver attached to us!

We are raising money for The Sheffield Childrens Hospital Charity, where most of you will know I work as a staff nurse.

I'm sure most of you will have either been to the hospital yourself, or know friends or family who have needed to visit the hospital at some point, so you will know it's a very worthy cause.  Without people raising money for our charity, we wouldn't be able to continue to support medical research into childhood illness, develop new facilities in the hospital, provide expensive specialist medical equipment, such as CT/MRI scanners and improve the environment of the hospital so that it is child and family friendly.

We are one of only 4 dedicated Children's NHS Trusts in the UK and care for children not only from Sheffield but from the rest of South Yorkshire, North Nottinghamshire, North Derbyshire, North lincolnshire and South of the Humber region, as well as other areas throughout the UK.

Please sponsor me to put myself through this ridiculously petrifying idea of mine, even if it's only a small amount as every penny will make a difference!
