Personal message:

When I started my first walk back in 1985, children diagnosed with leukaemia had just a 20% chance of survival. Today it is an 80% chance. I won’t stop walking until there is a cure but I need your help.

Following the success of my walk in October 2006 I have once again decided to get walking to raise money for Leukaemia Research. My walk in 2008 however will be different. Keep visiting the website www.bothamwalk.com for more information and show your support by making a donation on this page.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Leukaemia Research will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.

Sir Ian Botham
