I am not sure if you've heard about Anthony Gormley's project to get 2400 people to stand on the 4th Plinth in Trafalgar Square an hour at a time each, 24 hours a day. Anyone could apply and participants were chosen at random. http://www.oneandother.co.uk/
A few months ago, in a moment of sheer madness, I applied and have now been contacted to be told I have won a place.
So at 13.00 on Friday 10th July I will be standing on the 4th Plinth in Trafalgar Square (god help me!!) I am going to use the time to raise money for St Raphael's Hospice where my brother was looked after and also to raise awareness of skin cancer.
If you would like to make a donation to St Raphael´s and support my crazy adventure please do as all money - no matter how large or small - will be greatly appreciated.
It costs £440 per hour (that's £7.50 per minute) to run the hospice - lets see how long we can keep them going for!!
