Well i was due to do a tandem skydive on the 3rd August in memory of Deborah Bell, a close colleague who passed away last year from pancreatic cancer. I wanted to raise as much money as possible for Pancreatic Cancer UK to help fund research and provide support to those affected. UNFORTUNATELY DUE TO BAD WEATHER ON THE 3RD I WAS NOT ABLE TO GO UP IN THE PLANE, THEREFORE THE JUMP HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED TO THE 15TH AUGUST, A BIT MORE TIME TO MAKE THOSE LAST MINUTE DONATIONS!!! I am paying for the actual skydive myself, so all money raised will go straight to the charity. I have been training 2-3 days a week, jumping off my daughter's bunk bed and doing foward rolls. Chocolate is an essential part of the training in order to bulk me up for a soft landing. It's not been easy but I'll be spurred along by all the generous donations made. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Pancreatic Cancer UK will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
