Alzheimer’s Research UK is the UK’s leading dementia research charity. We’re striving for a cure, by revolutionising the way we treat, diagnose and prevent dementia.

Story

For some reason I've been persuaded that 100 mile cycle in two days is a good idea. So on the 17th of September I, and a few others, will be setting out from De Panne to Sluis, both in Belgium. The next day we'll all be returning, going South of Bruges rather than North to bring up the distance those extra few miles.

As part of this I want to try and raise some money for the Alzheimer's Research Trust. This charity, as the name suggests, funds research into causes of dementia and possible treatments. The number of people suffering with dementia will only continue increasing unless we can find some sort of treatment. Any help that can be given is a step closer to understanding the causes and prevention of dementia.
