This group of South East Scotland surfers along with Belhaven Surf Club  are taking a slightly twisted view on Sports Relief's - "a mile for charity". Instead of jogging or cycling, we're going to paddle, with our surfboards, in the sea, for 1 mile.

On 10 April 2010 (10:00am) at Belhaven Bay, near Dunbar we will take to the open sea to take part in the following, actually we'll be racing because, as surfers we all have a bit of a competitive streak.

 - Relay – Any number in a team to undertake 1 mile

 - Individual – 1 mile race for advanced / improver surfers

 - Juniors – 250 metres

Please help us to reach our target of £450 for this great cause.

And if your free why not come along to support your friends, family and colleagues.

When you Donate to Sport Relief, you’re doing something truly incredible. That’s because all the money you give will help poor and vulnerable people, both here at home and abroad. If you want to know more about where your donation goes click here
