Bella's Battlers Nuclear Rush - Rookie Rush page

Kids going NUCLEAR is all about one thing!!
A special little girl and the special legacy she has left amongst those kids that new her best!!
We could tell you all about Bella's condition. Which chromosome was the troublesome one, how it affected her, the struggles she encountered but that's not the important thing now.
The important thing to remember now is Bella herself; her incredible spirit, her wicked laugh, her strength, her courage and the incredible friend that she was to all of us.
Bella passed away 29th August 2021 after an epic 15 years in this world. She lived a life full of love and laughter, with her family and friends and she left an ever-lasting memory with each one of us.
Throughout her life Bella was supported by Little Havens Children's Hospice and the amazing nurses and care team there, supported her and her family in her last days.
This group of Rookies are undertaking the Rookie Rush Challenge - A 3K Obstacle Course with the main theme being MUD!! Bella battled to make the most of every day and now us Rookies are taking on a battle to give thanks to Little Havens Children's Hospice in memory of our friend.
Anything you can give will make all the difference to the other Children & families cared for by Little Havens. Every child deserves the love, care and expertise offered by the staff there.
When a child has been diagnosed with a complex or incurable condition, Little Havens can provide the care they need, ‘Making every day count’.Our specialist Care Team can support them and their family throughout illness, death and bereavement, in the comfort of their own home or at our hospice. We focus on their quality of life, caring for individual physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual needs, ‘Making every day count.’ We must raise over £40,000 each week to be there for every baby, child and teenager who needs us.
