This challenge came about after a bunch of friends got together and wanted to raise lots of charity funds in memory of the late, great, Marco Simoncelli. So... we're cycling from Donington Park (East Midlands, UK) to the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli (half way down Italy)... a ride of over 1000 miles, including the slopes of the French / Austrian / Swiss Alps, and the 40 degree heat in the heart of Tuscany! This seems like a good fun holiday sort of trip, and it would be just that, if we were not attempting to ride all day and all night, and complete the entire distance within four days - not much sleep planned!

My chosen charity, Sparks, fund life-saving research into conditions affecting babies, children and mums-to-be, making lasting differences.
