Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I will be visiting Ecuador in November and with any luck I will manage to climb both Cotopaxi (one of the highest active volcanoes in the world http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cotopaxi) and Chimoborazo (the highest peak in Ecuador (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chimborazo_(volcano)).

Unfortunately, Ecuador isn't all beautiful mountains.  Some of the people live in abject poverty, without poor sanitation or no running water.  This is where the Martin Chambers Ecuador Trust comes in.  The charity provides assistance to the people of Nuevo Prosperino in Guayaquil, the largest city in Ecuador.

One of the projects that the charity has been involved in recently has been getting a medical central up and running, with affordable treatment for all residents, at the heart of the community, for treatment of chronic illnesses.

Please contribute all you can.
