The African Palliative Care Association (APCA) works with healthcare providers throughout Africa to relieve the pain and suffering of people with terminal illnesses. By improving palliative care provision APCA helps transform the lives of many men, women and children suffering as a result diseases such as AIDS and cancer. Our mission is to ensure every patient receives the care they need to lead a full life and, when the time comes, to have a pain free and dignified death. For more information about our work please visit www.apca.org.uk

Story

Thanks for visiting my JustGiving page. I will be taking part in 'Movember' this year, which involves cultivating (and wearing with pride) a foolish looking moustache throughout the month of November! (Please have a look at the photos posted on this page as I go along, if you don't have the pleasure of seeing me in person.)

I'll also be taking part in The Great Santa Run on Sun 5th December, which involves 2000 people running 5km round Greenwich Park dressed as Santa! (The moustache shall of course remain until then.) This is all to raise money for The African Palliative Care Association, for more info please visit http://www.apca.org.uk

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it's the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
