Jennifer Trust for SMA - Guys Hospital Tower Abseil · 24 May 2008 to 25 May 2008 ·

SMA UK is a national charity supporting anyone affected by spinal muscular atrophy, a rare genetic, neuromuscular condition that causes muscle weakness and loss of movement. We offer support and information and advocate on issues important to the SMA Community.

Story

It was a while since my first abseil at the Kielder adventure centre, aged 8ish (as per pic) but now as a way of spicing up the May bank holiday and my Ma's birthday, my dad and I are going to leap off the top of Guy's Tower (a meagre 450ft!!).

Heights aren't my favourite so I reckon I'll be bricking it before I descend. All worth it though as Jennifer Trust is a great cause offering support for individuals and families with Spinal Muscular Atrophy. I hope you can donate a few quid for the cause.

Much appreciated and thanks.

And note to self: don't get too drunk the night before...

PS. If you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you so don't forget to tick the box!
