Every 2 hours, someone in the UK sustains a spinal cord injury. Their world – and that of their family – is turned upside-down. SIA aim to reach everyone affected by spinal cord injury, to connect them to all the help and support they need to life a fulfilled life.

Story

3,676 is the number of vertical meters we are going to walk, between Lukla at 2,800m and Mera Peak at 6,476m, and the amount I aim to raise for SIA.

Please help support every single meter of the ascent so my legs will keep moving to reach the top, and help people who, like my friend, are not able to move their legs anymore and go to these amazing places in the world.

Reaching the summit of Mera Peak is a life challenge for me. I've got no idea how I will react to altitude. The highest I've ever been is 4,680m in Yunnan, and I have also skin climbed Mont Blanc du Tacul at 4,060m. On both occasion I was fine, but 6,476m is...pretty high !

We should reach the top on 13th October and of course I will keep you posted on my return on 20th October.
Till then, thank you for supporting me and the Spinal Injuries Association which offers amazing support to my friend and people in similar position
