BEN'S COAST TO COAST CYCLE, MAY 2009
I am Benedict May. I am in Year 7 at Bottisham Village College, Cambridge, and this summer I want to raise £1000 for CAMFED - the campaign for female education in Africa.
From 1st - 4th May 2009 I will be cycling with my dad across England, from Whitehaven to Newcastle - 150 miles! I am raising £1000 for CAMFED, my school charity.
I have chosen CAMFED because it is locally based in Cambridge. And, all the money I raise will go directly to schools in Zimbabwe, Zambia and Tanzania. It will pay for education aids, books, roofing, even new toilets and will help African girls my age to be educated in a happy, healthy environment. Just £1.00 will buy a set of pencils, pens and stationery for a school girl.
So please sponsor me now!
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: CAMFED International gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
