RNLI volunteer lifeboat crews provide a 24-hour search and rescue service all around the UK and Ireland, while lifeguards keep a careful watch on the UK’s busiest beaches. RNLI lifesaving and drowning prevention depend on supporter fundraising and the generous donations that you and others give.

Story

Hello,

I am currently serving in the Royal Navy as a Marine engineer and am this year running in the plymouth half marathon in aid of the RNLI. The reason i am running in aid of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution is i am a helmsman on the Newquay lifeboat down in Cornwall and appreciate how much people donate and wanted to add my contribution to the service, so i pleed with you to sponser me in running the plymouth half marathon to support your local lifeboat station. Just remember it could be your life one day that is saved by one of the many volunteers throughout the UK and Ireland.

Your donations and help are greatly appreciated many thanks
